Fujinami starts with the right foot! At Bangor, in the Ulster, Fujinami clinched the first win of the season ahead of the former champion Doug Lampkin. In third the Indoor Champion, Adam Raga. Fujinami parte col piede giusto! A Bangor, nell' Ulster, Fujinami si porta a casa la prima vittoria della stagione davanti al campione in carica Doug Lampkin. Terzo il campione indoor, Adam Raga. Bel tempo e tanta gente a vedere le zone, quasi interamente sulla costa. Solo all'ultimo minuto la FIM ha deciso di far partire i piloti spagnoli squalificati per lo sciopero al Campionato spagnolo.
