30/09/06-Breal Sous Montfort, France. With almost the 70% of the competition disputed under a heavy rain, the British team topped the seventh edition of the Women Trial des Nations. Five teams fought until the last section and with the same chances to win. The Spanish team, (only two riders, but one of them was Laia Sanz!), who was leading after the first lap, but was overtaken by the three English women, Donna Fox, Maria Conway and Rebecca Cook. Then the German team (last year winner), the Japanese team and French team. More distant all the others.

30/09/06-Breal Sous Montfort, France. In una gara disputata per il 70% sotto una pioggia battente, le inglesi si sono aggiudicate la settima edizione del Trial delle Nazioni femminile. Cinque squadre hanno lottato fino alla fine con le stesse probabilità di vincere. Le spagnole (solo due, ma una di loro era Laia Sanz), erano al comando a metà gara, ma poi si sono fatte rimontare dalle inglesei, Donna Fox, Maria Conway and Rebecca Cook. Poi le tedesche (vincitrici l’anno passato), le giapponesi e le francesi, finite nell’ordine. Più lontane le altre. La nostra compagine si è classificata al 9° posto, su un totale di 13 team presenti.
