Gas Gas' Grattarola dominated the third round. Same venue where the next year it is scheduled the Italian world round. Behind the coast, not far from Genova, but at nearly 1000 mt altitude.
Grattarola assured his win with a convincent first lap, where he scored just 2 marks. Lenzi in second, made 14 mistakes, ahead of Maurino (16), then Challoner (20). Great second lap for Challoner (6), who overtook Lenzi and Maurino and concluded in second place. Grattarola controlled (8 points) and gathered his third win.
He led both the championships: International, 5 points lead on Challoner; TR1, 15 marks on Maurino.
