22/05/16 - In the name of Peace brothers second day in Breal, too!
Second day in Breal sous Montfort, third round of FIM Europe Championship, still in the name of Peace brothers. As the day before on dry conditions, Dan and Jack did not cheat the country they are from, confirming themselves unbeatable in the rain and on slippery rocks as English riders often do. If organizers thought to modify some sections to make them more difficult because the day before more than one rider happened to clean a whole loop, they immediately changed their mind watching how many rain dropped in the night. No changes in the sections, but a completely different race, because, even if rain alternately came with some beams of sun, all the rocks became very slippery due to the mud brought by all the tires. Scores grew in all the classes.
Dan Peace (Gas Gas) had no rival, above all in the first lap, when he built his victory: 11 points, against to 17 made by Frenchman Quentin Carles de Caudemberg (Beta), 22 by Iwan Roberts (Beta) and 24 by leader Miquel Gelabert (Sherco). Disappointed for his poor performance, Gelabert poured out his rage and scored only 4 points in the second lap. Too late to win, because Peace (12 marks) kept the first place by 4 points (24 to 28). In third Carles.
Absolute domain of Jack Peace (Gas Gas) in the Junior class. In the first lap he scored 11, almost half what marked by Italian Stefano Bertolotti (Sherco) temporary runner-up (20). Then he managed his lead to take home his third success on three rounds. Bertolotti worsened his second loop's score and slid to fourth place, overtaken by compatriots Luca Corvi (Scorpa) and Sergio Piardi (Beta) finished in this order.
In the Over 40 class, German Markus Kipp (Beta) was again the best. In second place Italian Valter Feltrinelli (Beta) who overtook Dutch John Van Veelen (Scorpa) in the second loop.
French Adrien Vergnant (Gas Gas) and German Timmy Hippel (Beta) won again the International class 1 and 2, respectively.
Next round in Sokolov, Czech Republic on 6th of August.

Nel segno dei fratelli Peace anche il secondo giorno a Breal!
Con le zone peggiorate in modo naturale, senza intervento degli organizzatori, ma grazie all'abbondante pioggia caduta nella notte, si è assisitito a tutt'altra gara. Ancora i due fratelli Peace a fare man bassa.
