10/06/18 - Matteo Grattarola won recovering!

Matteo Grattarola (Montesa) has won the fourth round of the Italian Championship in Barzio, Lecco, recovering his gap from Gianluca Tournour (Gas Gas) who was a while from breaking his consecutive-won record, now led to 32 victories in a row.

On sections made more insidious by the rain of the night before, only two riders have slowly gained a consistent lead: Tournour who left 10 points on the first lap and Grattarola 14. For Luca Petrella (TRS), then came third, the mistakes were already 25. In the second loop the winning comeback of the champion: just 4 penalties, against the 9th of the provisional leader, who was overtaken by only one point.

In the championship the advantage of Grattarola on the chasing couple Tournour-Petrella rose to 18 points with only two appointments still scheduled.
