30/06/19 - STILL BOU COMING BACK ON FAJARDO, CABESTANY WORLD CHAMPION

Toni Bou (Repsol Honda) wins his fifth in a row in Belgium performing a comeback on an indomitable Jeroni Fajardo (Gas Gas). Albert Cabestany (Gas Gas) dominates in the Trial-E and is world champion. Matteo Grattarola (Sembenini Nils Redmoto Honda) unchallenged wins and stretches in Trial2. Kieran Touly (Scorpa) confirms hiself in the Trial 125.

In the heat that plagues Europe these days, the Belgian GP took place in Combain au Pont, in the East, a few miles from Liège. After the Dutch race was a bit too easy for all categories, this time the zones were worthy of the world title.

Bou and Fajardo rode at an incredible level. The successful Adam Raga (TRRS), who came third, scored double Fajardo points. The number two of last year has engaged in a fight on par with the multi-champion, that ended with Bou's victory only in the last section.

Fajardo had concluded the first lap ahead: 18 errors against the 21. Then the situation was reversed in zone 10 of the second lap, but with everything still open. Eventually Bou prevailed for only 3 points: 33 to 36.

Behind Raga the veteran Takahisa Fujinami (Repsol Honda). overtaken by one point in the general classification by Fajardo.
Cabestany had no difficulty in relegating the ever-green Kenichi Kurayama (Yamaha) to runner-up position among the few Electric bikes. Victory and title: the third consecutive for Gas Gas. Third Gianluca Tournour (Gas Gas).

On tougher sections Grattarola can better express its potential and did not concede anything to its rivals. Leading in both laps, he took home the third win of the season, and now his lead over Gabriel Marcelli (Montesa) - third place today, behind Toby Martyn (Beta) - is 14 points.

Touly was back to the victory in the 125cc class. Behind him Marco Mempor (Beta) in front of Carloalberto Rabino (Beta), both haved the same positions in the overall standings.

Now a little rest for national activity to resume on July 14th in Gouveia,Portugal.

ANCORA BOU IN RIMONTA SU FAJARDO, CABESTANY IRIDATO, GRATTAROLA DOMINA

Toni Bou (Repsol Honda) vince la sua quinta di file in Belgio in rimonta su un indomabile Jeroni Fajardo (Gas Gas). Albert Cabestany (Gas Gas) domina nella Trial-E e è campione del mondo. Matteo Grattarola (Sembenini Nils Redmoto Honda) incontrastato vince e allunga nella Trial2. Si conferma Kieran Touly (Scorpa) nella Trial 125.

Nella stretta di caldo che affligge l'Europa in questi giorni si è corso il GP del Belgio a Combain au Pont, nell'est a pochi km da Liegi. Dopo la gara olandese risultata un po' troppo facile per tutte le categorie, questa volta le zone sono state degne dell'appellativo di mondiale.

Bou e Fajardo hanno fatto il vuoto. Il valido Adam Raga (TRRS) giunto terzo ha girato col doppio dei punti di Fajardo. Proprio il numero due dell'anno scorso ha ingaggiato una lotta alla pari col pluri-campione conclusasi con la vittoria di Bou solo all'ultima zona.

Fajardo aveva concluso in vantaggio la prima tornata: 18 errori contro i 21. Poi il ribaltamento della situazione alla zona 10 del secondo giro, ma con tutto ancora aperto. Alla fine Bou ha prevalso per soli 3 punti: 33 a 36.

Dietro Raga il veterano Takahisa Fujinami (Repsol Honda) che si vede ora scavalcato di un punto nella classifica generale da Fajardo.

Cabestany non ha avuto difficoltà nel relegare alla piazza d'onore il sempre verde Kenichi Kurayama (Yamaha) tra le poche moto elettriche. Vittoria e titolo : il terzo consecutivo per la Gas Gas. Terzo Gianluca Tournour (Gas Gas).

Su zone più dure Grattarola può esprimere meglio il suo potenziale e non concede nulla ai suoi avversari. In testa in entrambi i giri si è portato a casa la terza vittoria stagionale, portando a 14 punti il vantaggio su Gabriel Marcelli (Montesa) oggi terzo, dietro a Toby Martyn (Beta).

Riprende a vincere Kieran Touly (Scorpa) fra i 125cc anch'egli in modo netto. Secondo Marco Mempor (Beta) davanti a Carloalberto Rabino (Beta), che ricoprono le stesse posizioni in campionato.

Ora un po' di sosta per l'attività nazionale e ripresa il 14 luglio in Portogallo, a Gouveia.
