21/04/24 - Grattarola started one step above all

Matteo Grattarola (Beta) starts off in the best possible way with a crushing victory in Garessio (CN)- West Piedmont - in the first round of the fiftieth year of the Italian Championship. The thirty-six year old from Lecco shows no signs of slowing down and in a race with only two indoor style zones, he was able to express his great potential and his indisputable experience. No one seems able to counter him in the pursuit of his 15th national title. A total of 13 penalties in the two laps with the first actually ending at “1”!.

Luca Petrella (Gas Gas), the best of the pursuers, scored 43. Very good at reacting positively to a misunderstanding with the observer of section 11 on the first lap, who had given him a "5" for having entered the zone without waiting for his permit. Transforming his anger into strength, he went from 28 errors in the first round to 15 in the second round.

On the podium Lorenzo Gandola (Beta) a little further behind with 52 points, just one point less than Gianluca Tournour (Gas Gas).

In the Women's category where there were only 4 participants, a far from predictable victory for the favorite Andrea Sofia Rabino (Beta). Only one point separated her from a fierce Alessia Bacchetta (Gas Gas): 17 at 18! There was also a lot of balance in the dispute for the third step of the podium with Martina Brandani (Sherco) prevailing over Martina Gallieni (Scorpa) by just one clean.

Also worth mentioning are two other girls competing on the yellow course: Aylen Scalvedi (Montesa) and Alice Parodi (Beta).

The circus now moves to central Italy in Civita Castellana (VT) for two races on 11 and 12 May.

Grattarola parte uno scalino più in alto di tutti

Matteo Grattarola (Beta) parte nel migliore dei modi con una vittoria schiacciante a Garessio (CN) nella prima del cinquantesimo anno del Campionato Italiano. Il trentaseienne lecchese non mostra alcun segno di cedimento e in una gara con sole due zone stile indoor, ha potuto esternare il suo grande potenziale e la sua indiscutibile esperienza Nessuno sembra in grado di contrastarlo nell'inseguimento del suo 15-esimo titolo nazionale. In tutto 13 penalità nei due giri con il primo concluso addirittura ad “1”!.

Luca Petrella (Gas Gas) , il migliore degli inseguitori ne ha totalizzate 43. Molto bravo nel reagire positivamente ad una incomprensione col giudice della zona 11 al primo giro, che gli aveva affibbiato un “5” per essere entrato in zona senza attendere il suo permesso. Trasformando la sua rabbia in forza, è passato dai 28 errori del primo giro ai 15 della seconda tornata.

Sul podio Lorenzo Gandola (Beta) un po' più staccato con 52 punti, appena un punto in meno di Gianluca Tournour (Gas Gas).

Nella categoria Femminile dove sono state solo 4 le partecipanti, vittoria per nulla scontata della favorita Andrea Sofia Rabino (Beta). Un solo punto l'ha divisa da un'agguerrita Alessia Bacchetta (Gas Gas) : 17 a 18! Molto equilibrio anche per la disputa del terzo scalino del podio con Martina Brandani (Sherco) che ha prevalso su Martina Gallieni (Scorpa) per un solo zero.

Da segnalare anche in gara sul percorso giallo altre due ragazze: Aylen Scalvedi (Montesa) e Alice Parodi (Beta).

Il circus si sposta ora nel centro Italia a Civita Castellana (VT) per due gare l'11 e il 12 maggio.
