07/07/24 - AGAIN A BOU-BUSTO DEAL WITH THE CHAMPION WHO COMES BEST

On the second day of the German GP held in Neunkirchen, repeated victories for Toni Bou (Montesa) in Trialgp, Jack Peace (Sherco) in Trial2, George Hemingway (Beta) in Trial3 and Martina Brandani (Sherco) in Trial 2 Women. The only novelty in first place on the podium is Berta Abellan (Scorpa) in the Trialgp Women.

Another deal between Bou and Jaime Busto (Gas Gas) the fight for the lead in the top category. Busto runs into a high five in the second section, thus giving the super champion a big advantage. Section 11 still remains prohibitive for everyone. The loop ends with a slight recovery for Busto, second with 11 points, two more than Bou.

Everyone else is already far behind. Matteo Grattarola (Beta) is the best of the pursuers with 21. Then Gabriel Marcelli (Montesa) 22, Jorge Casales (TRRS) 28 and Adam Raga (Sherco) 29.

Second lap in which section 4 becomes very treacherous. Busto falls into the trap and takes the maximum, like many other top riders. The usual Bou instead cleans it and flies towards the seventh victory out of 8 races played.

Busto is solidly second, while Marcelli does a masterpiece lap with only 12 penalties and takes the podium away from Grattarola. Casales and Raga maintain their positions.

Turnaround at the top of the women's Trialgp. Emma Bristow (Sherco) suffers 2 failures on the first lap and is immediately forced to chase. Abellan and Andrea Sofia Rabino (Beta) don't miss the opportunity. Both lead the standings at mid-race with 7 points against 11 for Naomi Monnier (Montesa) and 14 for the British champion.

Proud reaction in the second lap for Bristow (3 penalties), but Abellan (2) took home the first victory of the season on a great day. A few more errors for Rabino who maintains second place ahead of Bristow.

Implacable Peace in Trial2, the largest category, with just 8 points in the two laps wins the third consecutive race and extends his lead in the championship. Second is the winner of the 2023 championship, Billy Green (Scorpa) but the points are already 21 and he is just one point ahead of Alex Canales (Sherco) who gets the better of Arnau Farrè (Sherco) by 3 zeros.

Great comeback for Brandani in the women's Trial2 and second deserved victory. Halfway through the race she was only in third place, preceded by Seline Meling (Beta) and Laia Pi Ramirez (Beta): scores of 14,16 and 17. But a second round of 4 defeated all the opponents. Meling takes second place and on the podium Linda Weber (TRRS) overtakes the Spanish Pi Ramirez.

Without leaving a single point behind, the victory of George Heminway in Trial3, confirming himself as the star of a very rich 125cc class, with as many as 31 riders at the start, unfortunately without any Italians. Second Euan Sim (Sherco) with 5 points ahead of Johannes Heidel (Beta), 8.

Next meeting on July 14th in Comblain-au-point in Belgium.

ANCORA UN AFFARE BOU-BUSTO CON IL CAMPIONE CHE HA LA MEGLIO

Nel secondo giorno del GP di Germania disputato a Neunkirchen, vittorie replicate per Toni Bou (Montesa) in Trialgp, Jack Peace (Sherco) in Trial2 , George Hemingway (Beta) in Trial3 e Martina Brandani (Sherco) in Trial 2 Women. L'unica novità al primo posto del podio è Berta Abellan (Scorpa) nella Trialgp Women.

Ancora un affare fra Bou e Jaime Busto (Gas Gas) la lotta per il primato nella massima categoria. Busto incappa in un cinque alla seconda zona, dando così un grosso vantaggio al super campione. La sezione 11 rimane ancora proibitiva per tutti. La tornata si conclude con un leggero recupero di Busto, secondo con 11 punti, due in più di Bou.

Già molto staccati tutti gli altri. Matteo Grattarola (Beta) con 21 è il migliore degli inseguitori. Poi Gabriel Marcelli (Montesa) 22, Jorge Casales (TRRS) 28 e Adam Raga (Sherco) 29.

Seconda tornata in cui la zona 4 diventa molto insidiosa. Cade nel tranello Busto e si prende il massimo., come tanti altri dei top rider. Il solito Bou invece fa zero e si invola verso la settima vittoria su 8 gare disputate.

Busto è saldamente secondo, mentre Marcelli fa un giro capolavoro con sole 12 penalità e soffia il podio a Grattarola. Casales e Raga mantengono le loro posizioni.

Ribaltone in testa alla Trialgp femminile. Emma Bristow (Sherco) rimedia 2 fiaschi nel primo giro ed è subito costretta ad inseguire. Abellan e Andrea Sofia Rabino (Beta) non si lasciano sfuggire l'occasione. Entrambe guidano la classifica a metà gara con 7 punti contro gli 11 di Naomi Monnier (Montesa) e i 14 della campionessa britannica.

Reazione d'orgoglio nel secondo giro per Bristow (3 penalità), ma Abellan (2) in gran giornata porta a casa la prima vittoria della stagione. Qualche errore in più per Rabino che mantiene la piazza d'onore davanti alla Bristow.

Implacabile Peace in Trial2, la categoria più numerosa, con appena 8 punti nei due giri vince la terza gara consecutiva e allunga in campionato. Secondo il vincitore del campionato 2023, Billy Green (Scorpa) ma i punti sono già 21 e precede di appena un punto Alex Canales (Sherco) il quale ha la meglio di Arnau Farrè (Sherco) per 3 zeri.

Grande rimonta per Brandani in Trial2 femminile e seconda meritata vittoria. A metà gara era solo al terzo posto, preceduta da Seline Meling (Beta) e da Laia Pi Ramirez (Beta) : 14,16 e 17 i punteggi. Ma una seconda tornata a 4 ha sbaragliato tutte le avversarie. Meling alla piazza d'onore e sul podio Linda Weber (TRRS) supera la spagnola Pi Ramirez.

Senza lasciare un punto la vittoria di George Heminway nella Trial3, che si conferma mattatore di una ricchissima classe 125cc, con addirittura 31 piloti al via, purtroppo senza alcun italiano. Secondo Euan Sim (Sherco) con 5 punti davanti a Johannes Heidel (Beta), 8.
