Cabestany beats Lampkin
for the time!
Albert Cabestany topped the podium beating for the time Dougie Lampkin
in a tie-break section, after an exciting final.
The Spaniard rider made the best score in the qualification lap collecting
only two points, same score for Dougie Lampkin, although Cabestany
overtook the Brit in the tie break section which decided the starting
order in the final. The leader in Series, Raga, reached the final
in third place, only with one penalty more than Cabestany and Lampkin.
In the final loop, the Gas Gas´ rider fived section 4, and so
he was out for the victory. Cabestany and Lampkin disputed the parallel,
won by the Brit. At this point, Cabestany and Lampkin were tied, so
it was necessary a discrimination section. Section 3 was chosen. Cabestany
completed the hazard faster and clinched the victory, his second in
Series.
